Aldo Mondino attended Hayter's Atelier 17 in Paris before going on to work alongside Tancredi. He draws inspiration from various contemporary art movements, making fun of art history by mimicking and combining several styles within the same composition: Surrealism, Cubism, Conceptual Art, Pop Art, Arte Povera and so on. He exhibited at the Salon d'Art Graphic Actuel (SAGA) in Paris
