Painter, watercolourist, draughtswoman. Landscapes, landscapes with figures, seascapes.

Clara Montalba was the daughter of A.R. Montalba, and was a pupil of Isabey in Paris. She was a member of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours, and participated in exhibitions in Paris, receiving an honourable mention in 1889
