French, 19th – 20th century, male.

Born in Paris.

Sculptor.

Hippolyte François Moreau was a pupil of the Robert brothers (?). He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris from 1889 to 1917, obtaining an honourable mention in 1888 and a third-class medal in 1889. There is reason to suspect he may be the same artist as François Moreau, known as Hippolyte.
