Painter, watercolourist, pastellist, draughtsman. Genre scenes, landscapes.

After studying by himself, then with Graham, and with the sculptor Banks in 1800, William Mulready became a student at the Royal Academy Schools in London, where he made rapid progress. From the age of fifteen, he earned his living
