Born 6 March 1550, in Florence; died February 1622, in Naples.

Sculptor.

Michelangelo Naccherino was a pupil of Gian Bologna. He settled in Naples as a court sculptor. His works still bear the hallmark of the exuberance of the Late Renaissance, but some of them already reflect a degree of Realism. His sculptures decorate the churches of Naples, Florence and Sicily.
