Born 1712, in Marseilles; died 15 June 1784, in Paris.

Painter (gouache), engraver. Figures, portraits, genre scenes, landscapes.

Michel Ollivier can be classed as one the lesser masters of delicate paintings of the 18th Century. He lived in Spain for a number of years. On his return to France he settled in Paris and was accepted in to the Académie de St-Luc.
