Draughtsman. Humorous cartoons, comic strips.

Frederick Burr Opper worked for the Madison Gazette and other magazines from the age of 14. He later contributed regularly to Puck, Harpers, Leslies and Wild Oats, and in 1899 was taken on by the New York Journal
