Othoniel is active in Paris. He sculpts or moulds sulphur and glass to create his works. In 1999, as part of the centenary celebrations for the RATP (the Paris transit system), he designed the metro entrance at the Palais-Royal station, entitled Kiosk of the Night Owls (Kiosque des noctambules).
