Born 1607, probably in London; died 26 March 1638, in Delft.

Painter. Battles.

Palamedes I was a pupil of his elder brother Anthonie Palamedes. He entered the guild in Delft in 1627. In 1630 he married Maria Euwouts van Gravesande. In 1631 he went to Antwerp where he met Van Dyck. He was a small man with a hunchback.
