Born 27 June 1667, in Avignon; died 1722, in Mons.

Painter.

The eldest son of Louis and grandson of Barthélemy, Ignace Parrocel studied in Paris with his uncle Joseph, specialising like him in battle scenes. He returned to Avignon in 1687. In an attempt to persuade him to settle there, his father arranged a marriage for him with Jeanne Maria Perier
