Painter. Landscapes, seascapes.

Marcel Parturier studied under Lucien J. Simon, René Joseph Ménard and Renée François Xavier Prinet. He was also taught by Othon Friesz. In 1923, he was awarded a travelling scholarship for Tunisia. He spent a year there but found it uninspiring. He painted landscapes of Sologne
