Claude Perrault was a doctor, physician and architect. Brother of the writer Charles Perrault, he may have been a pupil of Bernini. He worked in Venice from 1651, carving the tomb of René de Voyer de Pailmy, lord of Argenson in the church of S. Giobbe. He is credited with the plan
