In 1938, Louis Pevernagie exhibited alongside Apol, de Saedeleer, de Smet, Malfait and Saverijs. In 1949 he had a solo exhibition of his drawings at the Galerie Apollo in Brussels. The period between 1920 and 1950 is regarded as his Expressionist period; after 1950 he moved in the direction of abstraction. He
