Painter. Portraits, genre scenes, landscapes, still-lifes.

Antoine Plassan exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1846, receiving bronze medals in 1852, 1857 and 1859. He was made a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur in 1859.
