Francisco and Miguel Polanco were pupils of Zurbarán and worked together. They are mentioned in 1646 and their work, at least traditionally, has been compared with that of Zubarán. Their paintings of The Martyrdom of St Stephen, the Nativity and St Ferdinand can be seen in the church of San Esteban in Seville. They also decorated the sacristy
