Born 17 January 1432 or or, in Florence; died 4 February 1498, in Rome.

Goldsmith, painter, engraver, sculptor.

Florentine School.

Antonio del Pollaiuolo trained as a goldsmith and bronze sculptor and in 1457 was recorded in Militarro Dei's workshop. In 1466 he became a member of the Arte della Seta, the silk workers' guild, to which goldsmiths traditionally belonged.
