Born 24 October 1651, in Bremen; died 26 February 1738, in Stockholm.

Sculptor (wood/marble).

Burchardt Precht established himself as an artist in Sweden from 1674, and worked for the court in Stockholm. He was influenced by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger, and worked mostly on the decoration of Swedish church interiors. Several of his works are in the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm.
