Sculptor. Busts, statues.

Joseph Ramus was a pupil of Cortot and won second prize in the Prix de Rome in 1830 with Theseus, Conqueror of the Minotaur. He first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1831 and received a silver medal in 1831 and a gold medal in 1839.
