Born 1620 or 1625, in Rheims; died 15 October 1670, in Paris.

Draughtsman, engraver (burin).

Paris School.

Regnesson produced a substantial number of historical portraits after his own drawings, as well as after P. de Champaigne, F. Chauveau and the Beauleruns. He was the master of Robert Nanteuil, who married his sister. Regnesson married Marguerite Isaac in Paris on 27 June 1649.
