Born 21 January 1859, in Sátoraljaújhely; died 1945, in Nagyszöllos (now Vinogradov, Ukraine).

Painter, draughtsman, illustrator. History painting, genre scenes.

Imre Révész studied under Bertalan Szekely, Charles Louis Muller and Michael Munkácsy at the Vienna and Paris academies. From 1904 he taught at the Budapest academy and from 1920 he was the director of the Kecskemét art school.
