Jeanne Rongier was a pupil of Henri Senart in her native town, then of Henri Harpignies and Evariste Luminais in Paris. From 1869 she exhibited in Paris at the Salon, then at the Salon of the Société of Artistes Français, of which she had become a member in 1883. She received an honourable mention
