Born 17 May 1914, in Mauritius, in 1907 according to some sources, in 1912 according to others; died 1992, in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne.
Painter, engraver. Stage sets.
Gaëtan de Rosnay studied under Paul Colin in 1930, learning techniques associated with posterwork and stage set design. He left for Mauritius in 1934 and worked there on a plantation. He returned to France in 1939
