Roullet was the pupil of Jean Lenfant and François de Poilly. He became an associate of the Académie Royale on 28 June 1698. He worked in Italy from 1673 to 1683. On his return to France he settled in Paris, where he produced many portraits. He engraved after Ciro Ferri, Mignard and
