Pierre Roussel, a grandson of Ker-Xavier Roussel and great nephew of Vuillard, studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1945. He published two books of lithographs: one about Japan (1958) and one to celebrate Molière's tricentinary. He took part in exhibitions dedicated to the École de Paris; the Salon
