Born c. 1742, in Aix-en-Provence.

Miniaturist.

Rouvier entered the school of the Académie Royale in January 1770, under the patronage of Dendré-Bardou and recommended by De Marigny. His name is spelt 'Rouvière' on the register of pupils, and 'Rouvier' on the alphabetical list of the same register. He exhibited portraits and genre subjects in miniature at the Salon de la Correspondance in 1779 and 1782.
