Sculptor (wood).

William Rush was a pupil of E. Cutbush. He sculpted statues, as well as a fountain and a crucifix, for various churches and public monuments in Philadelphia. Some of the highly original figureheads he produced at the beginning of his career can now be seen in Philadelphia
