In 1923 Yuzo Saeki obtained a diploma from the department of western painting from the University of Fine Arts in Tokyo. He left for France where he worked for some time with Vlaminck. He executed many views of Paris and landscapes.

He exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1925 and also several times
