Born 11 June 1844, in Rome; died 11 September 1908, in Albano Laziale.

Draughtsman, art writer.

A pupil of his father Alexander Maximilian, Ludwig Seitz came under the influence of P. Cornelius and Overbeck. He is known particularly for his frescoes in the churches of Loreto, Rome and in Djakovo Cathedral in Slovenia.
