Painter, draughtsman.

Shen Yinmo was also a calligrapher and writer and taught in many universities. He took part in various nationalist movements after World War I and was tortured by Red Guards and forced to burn his work during the Cultural Revolution. In 1946, he showed a calligraphy at the Exposition Internationale d’Art Moderne Ouvert
