Olivier Strebelle is the son of Rodolphe Strebelle. He studied at the Brussels Institut de la Cambre, and after World War II, with his brothers Jean-Marie (painter) and Claude (architect), founded a community in Torhout based on the social principles of Charles Fourier, which functioned until 1950. He was professor at the Académie Royale des Beaux
