Born 18 December 1835, in Taganrog, Russia; died 3 May 1918, in Teignmouth.

Painter. Historical subjects, portraits, genre scenes.

William Frederick Yeames exhibited in London at the Royal Academy and the British Institution from 1859. He became an associate of the Royal Academy in 1867 and a full member in 1878. In 1909 he exhibited at the Cambrian Academy.
