Austrian, 18th – 19th century, male.

Born 5 July 1746, in Unterwalpatann (Tyrol); died 3 March 1822, in Vienna.

Sculptor.

Franz Anton von Zauner executed the model for the fountain of Schönbrunn in 1755. He also executed numerous busts of contemporary personalities, and the equestrian statue of Joseph II in Vienna. He decorated the altar of the church of the Augustines in Vienna.
