Welsh painter. From December 1823 until early 1826 he was a pupil of David Cox in Hereford. Ince moved to London in 1826, exhibiting at the Royal Academy for the first time in that year; he was an occasional exhibitor at the Royal Academy and the British Institution and a frequent exhibitor at the Society of British Artists until 1858. In 1832 he was in Cambridge, where he was for some time a drawing-master.
