(b Füssen, 24 April 1594; d Kremsmünster, 18 Jan 1659). German music copyist, composer and lutenist, active in Austria. From 1607 to 1615 he studied at the Imperial College of the Austrian Nobility, Vienna, and then became director of the school at Admont Abbey, Styria, where he also had charge of the music.
