Court documents from a dispute brought before the Parc Civil, Chatelet de Paris on 21 January 1716, establish that Rippert and his wife, Michelle Maremaire, and children resided at rue St. Honoré l’enclos de Quinze-Vingts from 1668 until 1703, in which year they moved to rue Columbier, Faubourg St. Germain, and describe him as a ‘bourgeois de Paris’, indicating that by 1716 he was
