(b Turin, 7 June 1867; d Cairate, Varese, 1944). Italian harpist and composer. Tedeschi received a degree in natural science but turned to the harp and studied under Angelo Bovio in Milan, and later under Félix Godefroid in Paris. As a composer he was self-taught. From 1890 he toured Europe as a soloist and in 1899 was appointed professor at the conservatory in Venice. In 1902 he became professor
