Record label. It was launched in September 1948 by Globe Industries of New York and managed by Dante Bollettino. The catalogue consisted mainly of recordings by such traditional-jazz performers as Ray Burke and Knocky Parker. Both 78 r.p.m. discs and LPs were issued. Operations ceased in February 1952 at the same time as those of Bollettino’s label British Rhythm Society, and the catalogue was acquired by Chimes Music Shop, which that same year began reissuing
