A name variously used for a succession of London theatres on two different sites in the Haymarket – the King’s (or Queen’s) Theatre in the Haymarket (later Her or His Majesty’s), on the west side, which was the principal Italian opera house in London for more than a century, and the Little (or New) Theatre (later Theatre Royal), on the east.
