(b Genoa, 4 Nov 1946). Italian soprano. She studied at the Genoa Conservatory and with Michele Casato, and made her début at Budapest in 1966 as Eleonora in Cimarosa’s Il convito with the Italian Opera Giacosa company. She sang in Teheran, 1969–76, acquiring a repertory of coloratura and other roles including Susanna, Zerlina and the Queen of Night, as well as Adina, Lucia, Norina, Gilda and Violetta.
