(b c1796; d Romano, Bergamo, 30 Jan 1874). French, later Italian, mezzo-soprano. She studied in Paris, where she sang under her real name of Chaumel. Going to Italy, she was engaged at Naples as Comelli and, after her marriage to the tenor Giovanni Battista Rubini, appeared as Comelli-Rubini.
