Contrary to a Delhi High Court judgment prohibiting parallel importation of trade mark protected goods into India, the Government of India, through a circular issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has clarified that the statutory wording of the trade mark law of India recognizes the doctrine of international exhaustion.
