Isolated tremor can occur during a particular motor act or task (writing, typing, talking, standing, playing a musical instrument, wielding a tool or an item of sporting equipment) or affect a particular body part (isolated head tremor, chin and/or jaw tremor, tongue tremor, trunk tremor, leg tremor). These may be classified as task-specific tremors or site-specific tremors.
