The clinical interpretation that comes with a vexing neurologic problem in the ICU requires skill, and the last two chapters of this monograph are concerned with pragmatic judgment. This chapter discusses how to proceed with and how to conclude assessment of major clinical neurologic complications encountered in the ICU.
