Case 17 introduces a 14 year-old boy with OSA involving cranio-facial factors stemming from fetal alcohol exposure, as well as large adenoids and tonsils and bedwetting epidodes 3 or 4 times per week since age 6. PSG indicated apneahypopnea index (AHI) was close to 93 events per hour with a mean oxygen saturation of 83 % and a nadir in the 50s. The end-tidal carbon dioxide data was not reliable due to severe airflow limitation and multiple arousals. No cardiac rhythm disturbance was noted.
