Conceptions of schizophrenia

What I have done is given an overview of the issues raised and discussed thus far by philosophers, psychiatrists, and psychologists, on the subject of schizophrenia. The breadth of the issues investigated reflect a significant step toward understanding or reconceiving schizophrenia. It also reflects the perplexity and complexity of schizophrenia that professionals and academics are facing. In my view, the investigation of these issues has shed new light on the theoretical thinking, which underpins clinical practice and philosophical pursuit. It has also set the stage for further debate and research in the area of schizophrenia.
