Son of Isaac Abrabanel, and also known as Leone Ebreo. His Dialoghi d'amore (Dialogues of Love) explore the mystical relation of love and desire, and the way in which love infuses and maintains the cosmic order. They were influential in Italian Platonist and Neoplatonist circles in the Renaissance.
