Quick Reference

A key, or combination of keys, on a keyboard that can be used to perform a particular operation. For example, in many applications pressing ctrl+a (holding down the control key and pressing letter‘a’) is ‘select all’. Other examples are ctrl+c (copy), ctrl+x (cut), and ctrl+v (paste). The function keys are single accelerator keys.
