Quick Reference

A method of composting organic waste using aerobic bacteria. The waste is exposed to air either by turning or by forcing air into it through pipes. This process is reasonably odour‐free, and it generates more heat and is faster than anaerobic composting. Temperatures may become high enough to destroy pathogens and weed seeds.
