A RC society of priests and lay brothers dedicated to the evangelization of Africa and people of African origin. Founded at Lyons by Melchior de Marion Brésillac in 1856, its first missions were in Sierra Leone and Nigeria. In the USA its members work among Black and Hispanic Americans.
