Bp. of Laodicea from 268. A teacher and senator of Alexandria before his consecration, he was learned. His writings include a treatise on the date of Easter (Περὶ τοῦ̑ Πάσχα) and a work on the Elements of Arithmetic. The attribution to him of the Liber Anatoli de Ratione Paschali has recently been vindicated. Feast day, 3 July.
